By using the Globetrotter in combination with BlueDV, you have a powerful digital voice communication
tool that allows you to communicate from anywhere to anyone with just a simple internet connection.

The Globetrotter is basically an AMBE server and AMBE dongle in one. It can be switched between server
and dongle in a few simple steps. With the server active you can connect your Android BlueDV AMBE app
to the Globetrotter anywhere within range of the internet (WIFI). It is also possible to use the Globetrotter
on the road while it is physically at your home.

Update on the Globetrotter, Because I can only get 4G at my home and because my ISP use evil CGNAT it is impossible to connect to anything in my home from outside via the internet so I moved the Globetrotter to my Mothers and use her fibre and I can now connect to the Globetrotter from anywhere which is really amazing, the Sound Quality via BlueDV and DV stick 30 and Globetrotter both TX and RX is much better than any radio, I use my Bose headset, Audio quality is especially good when the other station has the same setup.

I Highly recommend the Globetrotter, I also have the DVmega DVStick 30 and while it's a really great device I have to physically connect it to any device I want to use which is fine if you only ever use it at one single device all the time at one location, however, with the Globetrotter I can use my laptop, Shack Computer, Tablet and Chromebook and just connect wirelessly to the Globetrotter without having to have the DVStick 30 plugged in to each device.

Anyway, get the Globetrotter, it's a fantastic device.
